Spring flowering bulbs

After a long, dull winter it is great to see colour flooding back to the garden, patio or balcony. The spring bulbs are among the first to burst into bloom directly after winter. Once planted they are very low-maintenance. By choosing bulbs with different flowering times and heights and combining these with other plants and flowers, it is possible to have flowering beds, borders and pots during the entire spring. You should therefore always include spring flowering bulbs in your garden design.

The most common varieties are:

  • Tulips: available in all the colours of the rainbow
  • Crocuses: very decorative planted on the lawn
  • Snowdrops and Winter Aconites: the first flowers to emerge in spring
  • Narcissi: return year after year
  • Hyacinths: give off a delightful scent

The entire FoC range of spring flowering bulbs can be found here, with over 300 different varieties of tulips, narcissi, hyacinths and other bulbs. They are packed in a bag with a photograph. Depending on the article, the bag contains 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 bulbs.
