Children
Ask your parents to reserve a section of the garden for you. You could then play a game and see whose bulbs flower first or who can grow the biggest flowers. Or you could plant some bulbs and give the flowers to someone as a present.
Share your passion for gardening with your children or grandchildren. Plant onions and other vegetables interspersed with flower bulbs. Dig up a bulb in the middle of winter to see how the stem and roots have developed. Cut through the bulb to find out what it looks like inside. Let children discover nature by allowing them to help in the garden. This is possible as soon as they can walk.
You will realise that gardening is lots of fun for children, it teaches them to respect nature and ultimately encourages them to create a better world for themselves.
